Your help is needed! We may need a letter from you if: *IAEP will NOT be negotiating your contract, and you believed 250/IAEP when they said this would happen. *You felt threatened in any way that your health insurance and/or benefits would change in any way regarding who you voted for. *You felt threatened that Firefighters would "take" your jobs away if you voted a certain way. *Jennifer Bales refused to rotate crews to even have the chance to vote. *You felt you were NOT given a chance to vote. (Polls not running around your times, ie; turned you away, ect. You were refused a mail ballot even though dispatchers were given a mail ballot) * You DO NOT agree with Local 250 extending your contract for an additional 3 years....without your vote of approval!!! These are only a few examples. News has surfaced from many counties that polls were shut down early, on time, or late, one as long as 37 min. late....this cannot happen! It has to be legally clear, concise and fair across the board! As many of you may/may not know, Local 250 or NEMSA did not receive the majority vote to win. Whether you voted for Local 250 or NEMSA we need your help, a re-election is being sought but we need a number of letters from you in order to file these objections with the court!!! PLEASE write your note/letter of any reason you felt your voting rights were violated from a given reason above or one not listed and immediately fax them to: Torren colcord @ (916) 446-4487, or call Dary Sardad @ (916) 439-3266/drop the letter in his mailbox in Sacramento or call Aaron @ (916) 213-1326/drop the letter in his mailbox in Sacramento Tracy Sardad @ (916) 920-5403 PLEASE DO NOT DELAY, THE CLOCK IS TICKING, YOUR HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!!
Get over your selves already... you LOST the vote!!!!! Obviously unless something is done in NEMSA's favor, they will scream and cry and stamp their feet and continue to intimidate and shout "unfair, it's all lies unless we tell it to you".... BROTHER!!!! Why are they wasting their time with this closed vote.. why don't they go after all the EMS personel that aren't unionized and have no representation.. like they said they would.. but then I guess they are still smarting from the defeat in Sacramento..... Come on people! Work together.. I know you can. Do you all from NEMSA stand on scene with your arms folded because you don't like the fire department? Life is full of disappointment. It's not all roses. Pick yourself up, carry yourself with some dignity, and MOVE ON!!!!! Don't continue to make your work environment hostile, as some of you have suggested on the NEMSA website. It's time to be adults......... You continue to be sore losers and.. people aren't going to respect you nor will they "rally" for your "cause".. isn't it obvious that all your scare tactics and bullying haven't worked.. people saw right through them, and didn't like what they saw, the face that you put on to represent yourself was pretty ugly..... the majority voted ultimately for IAEP...not SEIU as some of you are STILL unwilling to accept even after all this. You can do more good for your profession and fellow coworkers if you move forward TOGETHER. AMR will take advantage of your petty squabbling and.. that will be it........ Everything will literally be for not. Don't distance yourself just because you didn't get your way. Noone will ever supports the pouty brat, and it just looks ill for you when you try to gather more members in different divisions/counties/companies. MOOOOOOOOOVING OOOOOOONNNNNN.............

* Anyone that was on duty on 9-01 or 9-02, that was not rotated in to vote; we need to get them to write an IR, sign it and fax it to 916-446-4487 The content of the IR or anyone persons complaint should not be just that the hours were terrible, rather the content should be: That AMR did not rotate them in to vote, blame AMR, the supervisors, or whomever else at AMR.
* The other objectionable point is; Find people that felt that they were going to lose their health insurance if they voted for NEMSA. Lot's of people had grave issues with loosing their health care coverage. Again, an IR that is signed, and then fax it to916-446-4487
* People that were fearful of being sued or damaged by SEIU (I.E., Sal Rosseli's first letter) People might have been fearful of being named as on of the "John Does."
* Anyone that was fearful of the letter sent by the IAFF/California Prof. Fire Fighters, which stated that Fire would take their jobs.
* People that were promised that IAEP would lower their union dues to $28.00, people that felt like they had no choice financially, etc. This is a huge issue, so push this issue as well.
Because as you know.. in REAL elections when we don't get the end result that we want.. we just keep redoing the vote til we get what we want... Real diplomatic tactic NEMSA... but then.. I suppose this is NEMSA diplomacy at work.. see if you had voted them in and you had actual elections for your eboard.. and didn't vote Torren in as the president... they would just keep redoing the election until he was voted in as such....... By the way.. Per Torren at the Stocktin meeting, "when Oak Vally voted for NEMSA they knew they were essentially voting for me as president" ... umm... so, have they ever had an actual election for their eboard I wonder.....
Brilliance.

How they would have screamed from the rooftops about intimidation and harrassment if the numbers had been in the reverse and 250 tried to change the vote.
There are obvious strong indications that NEMSA intends to contest the election and drag this thing on and on. The vote was close and there is a bank of $$$$$$$$$ at stake so I can understand their motives.
Hey......... why don't we have the U.S. Supreme Court decide this election as they decided Gore vs. Bush in 2000?! I am sure there's a hanging chad somewhere..............
Folks, it ain't over 'til it's over...................... and it ain't over yet.
You have been there from day one, even as NEMSA supporters ridiculed you from that very day for asking questions about NEMSA financing, Hummers, etc. Yet you hung in there and continued on. I hope IAEP gives you a big, giant, "attaboy" for all that you have done bro.
