I thought we were always on the same Team.. just having a difference of opinion of the managment.....But at least it can be said that we are finally agreeing to support a common cause.. and the Dodgers are B*TCHIN this year! Every dog does have it's day yes??!!!

We should have a HUGE barbque or something to celebrate WHEN they win the Series...

Without Loduca and Encarnacion you guys are done in the Divisional series.  Have fun watching St Louis enjoy the National League title while you and that hot head milton steam until april.

Go Giants.

And Go Angels cause I cant stand the A's.  And cause Vlad is an offensive powerhouse.  MVP all the way.

How funny we bring up baseball. My baseball team managed to get to our championship round, which we are playing this weekend. Two back to back at bats today, I got hit by the pitch in the exact same spot. The first one just hurt, the second one put me to my knees. We split the double header today. We'll figure it out on the 3rd and final game Monday. GO COUGARS!!!!!

Wait I think some do...ahhh the pleasures of knowing your on someones mind day and night..night and day..Well better talked and thought about than not.. I guess!

Well, I hate to say it, but the Cougars lost. We put up a great battle though. We split the double-header on Saturday, forcing a tie-breaker game. We went into the bottom of the 8th with a 4-1 lead, and the Blackhawks scored 4.

I play with a bunch of great guys. We have as much enthusiasm and gusto for this game as anyone, including the big show. But I am so sore from baseball. Like all baseball seasons, I am sad I have to wait 5 months before we start to play again, but my body is glad it's over, for now. I've got to get my poor ruptured plantar fascia fixed, which I am not looking forward to (anyone who's had the surgery, pls let me know how you did).

I'm not trying to be big-headed. I share a lot of my personal life on here with everyone. If you don't like it, don't read it. But some of the most important things I've learned in life comes from competition, and baseball has also taught me how to be a team player. Just as flyfishing has taught me how to rely solely upon myself. It's interesting how it applies here.

Not everything on this forum has to be union-related. There is no reason why we can't use this forum to tell everyone what a wonderful day you just had...maybe you are a new EMT and you just had your first field save...maybe you just got engaged...hit the jackpot at Harrah's...WHATEVER!!

So Kat, insults and attacks is all they have left at this point. Life is too fun to waste it on them.

You poor guy.

I have a friend that had to get their plantar fascia fixed and he has to wear special shoes, live lean and get plenty of time off his feet.  Get some good drugs.  It is painful from what I have been told.

Nice Medic

Forfend,

I am a firm believer in pharmacology!!<wink>

I'll most likely be getting a fasciotomy on my left foot, hopefully this will extend the fascia making it a bit more pliable. But, I've been playing on it since June 3rd. But, the first few steps in the morning are wicked!

Just to let all of you know how important the Dodgers are:

Governor Terminator (Arnold) thought that attending the game on Saturday to support the Dodgers was more important than paying tribute to fallen fire fighters this year.  Arnold did not attend the Star of Life Awards either.

I did see that!! I didn't know he did not attend the Star of Life Awards... I believe a strongly worded letter is in order..... that's pretty snobbish of him.. of course should he ever need EMS, he'll be playing a different tune about all of us.........
