From refuse to garbage/ 250 to IAEP

Ah..... smell the rot of IAEP/SEIU/Local 250 unionism...

it's a distinct odor..... of lies, misinformation and false propaganda. Not to mention anti -anything good for the member.

Designed to rape you of your dues without any return; full service dues for a self service union. NICE!!

Get ready 'cuz it's all you. You will be doing all the work without any support, assistance or REAL help from anyone. But you should be used to it because that was the 250 model, well atleast they payed for arbitrations.

What I love best is the whole IAEP / 250 service agreement that according to IAEP's newsletter "2400" voted for. Yea.... right. The fact is 250 and IAEP blindsided the membership. Nobody knew of this immoral and illegal transfer of membership to another union. If thats what you can call IAEP. Oh except for the 6 hand picked "leaders" according to Audra Makuchy. The ones her won't name. RRIIGGHHTT

(psst... Rod Blindlyings is not a real leader...despite what YOU think RRROOODDD, Mr. 250, aka. Dan Martin Jr.)

So for the rest of us: IAEP IS NOT YOUR UNION. THEY SHOULD NOT BE RECOGNIZED AS SUCH. LOCAL 250 IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CONTRACT UNTIL THE NLRB DECIDES OTHERWISE.

Ok mr Torren Jr. What did NEMSA show us financially that we were going to get back when we asked multiple times for? I guess we will just have to wait and see what we will get with IAEP. So far its more then NEMSA could show us.

No wonder SEIU Local 250 had such a hard time dealing with EMS.

Wow.  You NEMSITES insult everybody.  Now you're on to "conhome workers".  Torren must be so proud of your bottomless well of dignity for mankind.

I sure hope that the folks in San Mateo County decert this group of pathetic anti-humans before they lose all political credibility in their very liberal county.

NEMSA, I am sure that the likes of 250 are printing out these threads and sharing them with politicians.  Keep up the good work.

See ya out there..............................

I think it is official. Those who are critisizing Rod for participating in union activity, going to meetings, trying to rouse support, are true scabs. We now have in our midst real scabs! That really sucks! Its one thing to say that you feel NEMSA was the better way to go, but it is entirely something else to try and intimidate, and coerce other members from participating in the union. Those of you
participating in this, especially using vulgar language are TRUE scabs! Unbelievable! I hope your realize many will come to recognize your behavior as scab like, and will not follow you when they realize their jobs and livelyhood are at stake. I do believe this harsh negative behavior is going to be counteracted very strongly. We will not sit by and let the scab work of a few break up the bargaining unit, and destroy what many have worked so hard for. Myself along with many others have only been around for a few years, so we get to reap the rewards of being the best paid private EMS professionals in the country! But just because we havn't been here since the begining, doesn't mean we cannot recognize the time to protect ourselves! We were critisized for striving for contract protection, but now it is so clear that going against the scabs was the right decision. I hope others will follow in supporting those who want to participate in the union. The scab like behavior will no longer intimidate those who felt intimidated before. Daddy Torren is going to be upset when MOST of the members choose to build ouw local, rather then destroy it! Also just a side note; according to NEMSA die hards, we have absolutely no chance of surviving unless we are NEMSA. Well then how do you account for the thousands and thousands of other private EMS workers around the country? How do you acount for the years our unit has been around? You can critisize Santa Cruz all you want for being so vocal in this whole thing, but we are proud of where we came from. Santa Cruz was the first county to organize, and also has deep origins of AMR(Paul Shirley started Santa Cruz Ambulance). We certainly were not going to sit around and let what some scab like, disgruntled employees tear apart what we helped start! We have this oppurtunity to do more with our union then ever before, why don't we take advantage of it?

You have it all wrong. the true scabs support the illegitimate IAEP organization. There are only two sides in this fight 250 and NEMSA. You Scab, Go back to what you enjoy doing like making fun of US servicemen. You fu*king low-life

Right, you need to explain what scab like activity IAEP supporters are exhibiting. Also how am I mocking us soldiers by posting an article about Bush asking them to pray for him when in fact THEY are the ones being truly put in harms way for a war many soldiers are wondering why they are there. I don't expect everyone to agree on why should be there or not, I find it kind of ironic that they are being asked to pray for bush however. I believe we should be supprting THEM in more ways such as higher pay, better equipment, and bringing them home sooner. Just as you may have, I have friends over there, a 20 year old boy from Santa Cruz just died over there. How much sleep is bush really losing over these young kids dying? Maybe he should be showing up at each and everyone family members house who lost a kid and pray for them. Also, the lobster salad line is a quote from somebody famous and very compassionate.... It is obvious an attack on Bush, which again I don't expect everyone to dislike bush. I know you are trying to make it look like I'm unpatriotic, but I am quite patriotic. You can support our troops, and believe what they do is heroic, but at the same time disagree with the way this administration has executed their decisions. I am just one who does not think by bombing another country that had no ties to 9!11, and getting over 1,000 of our soldiers killed is a way to justify losing thousands on 9/11. I cert I would love to see respectful debate on this issue. Maybe there is no one side? I wish we had more discussions about politics on here!

Hey – Rat Killer

There are medications that could help you with your anger issues. AMR also has an EAP Phone line and you could talk to a therapist in person or over the phone.

Let us know if we can help.

I wonder if there are medications to help people overcome the insecurity that causes them to have supremacy issues.
