A NEMSA guy on a bar stool shouts to the bartender, "Wanna hear IAEP a joke?"
In a hushed voice, the guy next to him says, "Before you tell that joke, you should know something."
Our bartender IS IAEP, the bouncer is IAEP. I'm a 6' tall, 200 lb black belt. The guy sitting next to me is 6'2", weighs 225, and he's a rugby player. The fella to your right is 6'5" pushing 300 and he's a wrestler. Each one of US is IAEP. Think about it, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?"
The NEMSA guy says, "Nah, not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times."
I had better explain the joke for some of you more slower and denser IAEP types:
Its not that we think you are big or intimidating. Its not that we are the least bit scared of you. It’s the fact that you are all just plain stupid and can’t or won’t understand what is being said to you.
It is so unfortunate that the NEMSA advocates are so intimidated by IAEP, that they must stoop to low levels. The numerous posts filled with vulgarity and ignorance does not prove anything, but perhaps a self-esteem booster for them.
Is it a must to fill posts with vulgarity, lies, and threats? Does it help you sleep at night? This message board serves only as a venting forum for the NEMSA advocates. Too bad they couldn't make it productive as well.
Afterall, regardless of whether you like the IAEP or agree with them, you are still an employee of AMR in Northern California. Therefore you will be represented by the IAEP. I suggest you help make the best of it. Alas, I know my attempts to encourage all of the NEMSA supporters are failed attempts.
I just don't understand the lack of responsiveness towards your co-workers. They will be on the road with you, even though you have a difference of opinions. I agree that you are entitled to your opinion, but you should just agree to disagree. What would it hurt? Your dues will be going to IAEP anyway, so use much of your anger to make sure you guys get what you deserve out of the IAEP. Your anger CAN be productive if you use it in the right way.
I am sorry that the NEMSA supporters have so much animosity that has built into a crescendo. I can understand your frustration, but please, for the sake of your co-workers, help to make the best of your By-Laws and start to put your two sense into building your Executive Board, instead of just ranting and raving on this message board.
In closing, I would like to wish everyone the best of luck in creating these such items. I know that you guys will do a great job.
These rejects from Union School need to understand that their attempts at becoming Management without Formal Education is a fast track that is Far Over. The CHOO CHOO Train toward the management success story days have been replaced by true attempts of blatent nepotism.
Oh Well, The American Experience lost site and let the scumbags in. What is the workforce going to do? I wish all of you that are dependent on a salary good luck. We lose and we will continue to lose over the years if we do not change our system of check and balance.

As for the joke, it sucks.
The analogy is weak. As for us being spineless, stupid and intimidated I guess we are since we voted against you and we spoke publicly against you and we were in your face in the end once we understood what was going on.
This joke has become quite laughable, and we got this joke a long time ago. It's just becoming humorless having you retell the joke over, and over, and over again. The point of your ongoing joke is to try to fan an uprising so you can drag everyone into a vote again by demanding IAEP be certified through an election. Then you can have the contract opened. Then you can hope to have a nemsa win. Members don't want the contract open. The timing is bad. It's not a funny joke.
