I'm writing this without malice or accusation. And I hope that having said that this thread will possibly be answered without the usual gutter language and insults that have become the norm from several of the regulars in here.
I completely respect NEMSA message and ideas, even if I don't agree with the way they go about campaigning, nor the fanatical supporters... But the core of the idea is very attractive. I'm wondering why it is that NEMSA has decided to start it's "life" by trying to tackle the two biggest foes in the buisness, IAEP and SEIU.. and AMR as well. Instead of trying to take on the biggest cake in the pantry, even though it is tempting.. I don't really understand why they didn't/aren't attempting to unionize the smaller companies out there... and there are MANY ambulance services out there now days I'm sure we can all agree.. Why doesn't NEMSA build it's base out of these "easy" wins and build it's financial support and numbers that way.. There's plenty of time in the world to try to take on something as large as IAEP and SEIU.. the world's not going to end tomorrow.. at least I don't think it will... and there are a great many number of people who work for separate companies out there instead of one big conglomerate, like AMR, that are probably just waiting to be plucked up by some upstart union and take off with it. I understand that they want to bring change and "joy" so to speak, to everyone in EMS as fast as possible.. but it just doesn't make marketing sense to try to sell something that you can't prove or back up with history or facts... facts that have been proven not just written down... I would probably be more receptive if there was more meat on the table.. but as it is... NEMSA just looks like boiling water to me.. not the full meal.....

Nothing intelligent to say = insults. Studies have proven these types ruin democracy by making reasonable intelligent people disengage. Is this the strategy?
I don't think it is his planned strategy. He can hardly have any intelligent discourse to put down in insults. Atleast if that was his strategy, I would think that his vocabulary would extend to a few more vulgar words, however, he sticks to the same ones, over and over.
I don't think this will allow any of us to disengage. I think it only adds fuel to our democratic fire. NEMSA will not stand a chance with supporters like him and Duck Hunter. Let it be. They will help NEMSA fall by themselves and what a glorious day that will be.

How is it that when Rat Killer, Monster365, or Duckhunter speak, they speak for NEMSA leadership. But, when forfend, Amy, Nate, or the rest of the Springer 5+ speak they speak as individuals. They are not speaking for IAEP. Here is a big word for you cat "Hypocrisy" IAEP is swimming in it
I, Forfend, being of rabid nature and hostile reaction to the forced divorce that I did not want, am here on my own. I have made it clear time and time again that I am not a supporter or leader of IAEP. I am against NEMSA. That is all.
