nemsa censorship

Everyone should know that nemsa is censoring people on their web-site message board.  Again, it is their board and one might argue that they have every right to do so.  So be it...It's just that if they had any integrity left, they would just come out and let people know they are doing so, instead of blaming it on technical difficlties.  It is interesting to note that those who are pro-nemsa are not having problems posting...it is what it is.  Sort of like the old Soviet Union, eh, comrade?

Valley,

It is, however, unethical for Torren, or anyone else, to go onto their website and bash people that are out to try to make our workplace a better place, then not allow access for rebuttal. I have mustered every bit of strength I have not to get bogged down in a lot of the sarcasm and inappropriateness, from both sides. I have sat and watched comment after comment come out of the NEMSA camp about CoCo, with absolutely no validation whatsoever to their story. Despite getting their fannies kicked by me about their website's "SEIU Sells Out CoCo", and not having the balls to admit they were wrong and change their website, they instead up the ante and still continue on with their provocative attitude.

Sorry, but they have no right to edit comments on there, as long as they are not filled with cuss words. It is a website, on the internet, that one does not have to pay to get into. It is free domain. If they want people to stop making anti-NEMSA comments there, then start charging to access the site. Then, no one would be there, except the NEMSA staff, who would get in for free.

Thank you,

Rod Billings, Shop Steward, AMR CoCo Operations

Rod if you would look at he header of the message you would see that I posted "Grey Eagle's" comments that did not get through due to the tech problems with the site.  The comments are pasted as they were written,  If you have a problem with his comments, comment to him not me, that is unless you expect me to censor others comments.

Thanks

Torren

And how come only pro-NEMSA comments get the courtesy of being copied, pasted, and posted by Torren?? How come everyone doesn't get to post their concerns, questions, gripes, and praises... unless you start a "new topic"?? It's been quite a few days since the "update"... how long does it take to work out the kinks?? Before the vote, there was never a problem with any postings on the NEMSA website..but then there was an illusion of 100% support of NEMSA and so there was no need to slow down the works... interesting.......

So.. any word on when the "aimoo system" will get their act together??? Or any word on when Torren will give us all the "priviledge" of being heard on his website by copying and pasting all the other "replies"... pro's and con's???

I'll hold my breath......

I think the nemsa forum is the perfect analogy to the heart and soul of the core leadership that posts and edits. You're either with them 100%, or you're cast off and kicked on the way. Dissension is met with ridicule. The comments about members deserving to lose their jobs because they're less than is equally alarming. Hey high and mighties, you'll wake up on the wrong side of the bed one day. Good luck if you have set up precedence of not representing with fairness to all.

Dear Clear My Side,

My concern here is that he went out of his way to paste a comment that he knows is baseless. He didn't allow that comment the "awaiting for approval" time that you and I have to go through. I have posted my rebuttal to this pasted post. I am curious as to why my post was not pasted like his. Because it serves Torren no purpose. But, since NEMSA has lost, I don't see the purpose of pasting those comments for any purpose other than to continue to be inflammatory towards anyone that didn't support NEMSA. The comments that have been made on NEMSA's message forum, and their continued crap of "Selling out CoCo" goes way beyond just being inaccurate...they are lies and they know they are lies. I have irrefutably set them straight about current affairs in CoCo, but still the spin.

BTW, I have really enjoyed reading your posts on here. It would be nice to meet you in person someday. If I have, excuse my forgetfullness, I'm getting too old for this!!

Rod Billings, AMR blah blah blah

I sure do miss the NEMSA site.  It was ripe with measurable objective criteria.  There is nothing like concise dialogue among professionals to further their art and form.
