Bill is a great guy who has never threatened anyone,i know he's been accused of that but it is a lie, he is a victim of a smear campaign and he is not a communist (like that would really be a bad thing!)
Dan Martin knows EMS, Torren doesn't. let's get that straight once and for all! Dan hold a cetificate of a certified nurses assistant and has worked as such tirelessly in a pre-hospital setting for many years in convalescent homes and cared for our elderly, so he was deeply involved in our issiues from the beginning and knows what workers want and need!!! torren claims to have been a paramedic and to this day has not shown proof of that...just like nemsa!!! and just so you know brothers and sisters in this international struggle( like nemsa could say that!!!) Dans sister actually went to emt school and also holds a emt licence and has done some ride-alongs with the workers of amr. She undertands what we go through!!!
Now mr. Sokol is an excellent lawyer, who has assisted in negotiating our current contract with the help of people who actually have experience in negotiating contracts with multi-nationals,like Bill Bower and Todd Wilhoyt in sacramento! it is because of workers like these that local250 has become the strong ems union it has become. In merging with IAEP, local 250 will get even better contracts that before.now, Bill is being modest as is Dan, and that only speaks to their character as humble working class men, the truth is simply this...local250 has always been there for you, just look at the excellent contract you have!!! and local 250,as promised 3 years ago, will get you the retirement you deserve.they have a plan that they will bring amr to their knees. local250 promised us a STRIKE and we will get it and with it our retirement. brothers and sisters, striking is the only option we have and all the international workers will stand behind us. don't be afraid IAEP and Local250 have millions of dollars ready for you in the strike fund!!! you are totally secure!!! just imagine shutting down the 911 system for a few days!!! it would cost amr millions , they could never afford that.But we , brothers and sisters can hold out much longer, because sal and dan have wisely saved our money and it will be there when we need it!!! i'm shure if amr wants a real fight on their hands we can give it to them!!! we have afl-cio backing us up!!! we can shut down the 911 system for weeks if we had to!!!

I have never seen this aaron pelikan guy on an ambulance!!!and this guy named dari or something like that! he can't even really speak english and i hear he works for amr management as a marketing guy and is not even an emt!!! people from sacramento tell me they have never even heard of him!!!

if the courts are corrupt and allow another election to happen...brothers and sisters we won by 56 votes!!! out of over 2300 amr workers!!!that is clearly a mandate!!! the working class has spoken!!!we have the true majority of the vote , not nemsa!!! they lost by a whopping 56 votes, nemsa supporters will just have to get over it !!! they will eventually join the international working class struggle to lift up workers everywhere!!!they will join IAEP and local250 with their hearts and minds!!!!
A battle is won, but not the war. A foolish thing is to publicly proclaim a battle plan, or to speak for a group before consensus has occurred.
I am glad you are inspired to be involved in the work at hand to build our local and set goals.
Passion can make us rash; caution. The smear on Bill occurred when he was let down, and felt betrayed. He reacted passionately on a taped line. However, I don't hold it against him because of the circumstances. People who are exploiting that are wrong.
I admire loyalty. The hurts felt by the corrections of a friend, are much better than kisses from an enemy.

Dari is a good guy. We simply disagree on who should represent us. He is a paramedic with AMR Sac Ops. I have no reason to believe that he is nothing but an excellent paramedic. As far as his english skills, I have made so many typos on here, I hope no one else will think I am a blithering idiot based on that (when there are so many OTHER things you can base it upon!!)(lol)
Torren is also a paramedic. I believe he is part-time with San Joaquin. Since he is free to come here and make any comment he wishes without censorship, he can correct me if I am wrong.

No one, NO ONE, has promised a strike. Shutting down the EMS system? You'd better think long and hard about that one, especially how it would play out in the court of public opinion. There are other ways to get what we want without going to that last resort. There were things that we could have done to get our pension last time, we just didn't do them. SEIU/IAEP will need everyone's support, including those who previously supported NEMSA, to achieve this goal. We can do it without a strike. But there must be unity and solidarity.
