NEMSA Webpage is done

It officially appears that the NEMSA message board is done. There have been no new posts, other then from Torren (surprisingly) for days. Also, you will notice not one update on the outcome of the vote in the rest of the webpage. What is troubling however are these emails being sent out regarding NEMSA trying to get people to write letters on behalf of NEMSA so there can be a re-election. I would only hope that people do not continue to be sucked into the continuing drama of NEMSA. We are done pretending that we are reliving our high school years. For those who are not ready, and/or refuse to move forward, well we will respect that, but please, for the sake of all members, let us move on! We have business to attend to, and it is not the business of profiting of members dues money! If IAEP fails, then we can wave our flags then, but most of us truly believe IAEP/250 is the winner. The vote was close, so we as a collective group are going to go into this knowing that there are many different needs to be accomodated too. For the leaders out there who feel as though they cannot participate in the building of what could be one of the most powerful private EMS locals in the country, I would ask you to reconsider. I truly believe that no matter what the banner name is, be it 250, IAEP, NEMSA, or the mickey mouse union, that the union really consists of the members and leaders who emerge. Maybe this is a time for some leaders to step down, and new ones to emerge, but I would hope those with the experience, and wisdom stay as long as possible. ok enough rambling

Strife,

It would appear Rotverrecke(?spelling) is also being allowed to post. I believe this is Tracy and Dari Sardad, well known NEMSA supporters. They are trying to garner further support for a re-vote. Apparently Torren wishes to carry on with his charade that there is "something wrong" with the message board. You know, one or two days of that excuse is workable, but not anymore. The message board has been completely cut-off from anyone with opposing viewpoint to NEMSA. Yet, they may still come here and post their rhetoric.

I had posted several comments, one of them the "Bridges" post, hoping to solve the problem of distance amongst us, and another one demanding an apology from Torren on behalf of Tim Bonifay, who is incapable, among many things, to do it himself. These haven't been "approved" either.

Thank you,

Rod Billings, Shop Steward, AMR CoCo Operations
