Ok, lets clear this up right now. I’m posting this on a new thread because its spread over other threads. Apparently, some of you don’t read all the threads. Because I’ve already explained this once. My "Jerry’s kids" statement is referring to Jerry Springer not Jerry Lewis, It has nothing to do with kids and M.D.....I will admit now it would have been wiser to use "Springer’s kids" instead of "Jerry’s kids" But at the time I wasn’t thinking about Jerry Lewis.....Now the reason for the Springer kids comment was in response to Forfend’s attacks on EMTMichelle...Especially the language used.....I personally know Michelle and she was sincere in her questions....She is not Alis She is a real person.......Regardless of who Forfend thought she was talking to, the language used was not necessary.......Hence, The Jerry Springer show came to mind.....So you all can stop trying to exploit my words.
Second Issue: The posts between myself and thecutecat, L-E-A-H.....Sooo Sorry to offend I read your name posted on another post as Leha.....In this day and age you cant expect everyone is using the common spelling on their names.......Now Hx on the issue; I came back from L.A. pretty disgusted with IAEP....The lies and manipulation they are using down there proves they have neither ethics or morals. When the subject of L.A. came up on the Insanity thread I posted....I attacked no one personally only IAEP as an organization. Leah, responded to it by attacking me personally with the sitting on my ass comment. I should have ignored it, but I did’nt I’m human. We traded comments....These comments are mine not NEMSA’s.....So, you can quit trying to exploit what I’ve said to her as NEMSA doctrine.....I’m not employed by NEMSA and I don’t make policy decisions.....I’m a regular field grunt who happens to feel that NEMSA is far superior than IAEP......
In one of your comments about the "fab 5" you made a comment referring to a "mental" issue, subsequently referring to them as "Jerry's Kids." That is in no way linked to Jerry Springer. To pawn it off as "Springers kids" is a poor attempt at covering up a poor choice in judgement. The terms "Springers Kids" and "Jerry's Kids" refering to Jerry Springer is new to all of us. No one has EVER heard that analogy, and I think it is an obvious lie on your part. It is obvious You would be accepted better if you just admitted the nature of it and appologized. Even if you are telling the truth, it was an EXTREMELY poor choice of judgement on your part, being it painted you in a very unprofessional and insensitive light. You now get to live with the ramifications.
In regards to you not being employed by NEMSA--That may be true, I Dont know whether it is or not. But what I Do know is that your name, picture, and a quote from you are on the NEMSA website (Ill be happy to post the link if need be). You are a vocal nemsa advocate, your name goes along with the "Face of NEMSA." In other words, things you say are considered a reflection of NEMSA. You need to be setting an example, doing things cleaner and smarter than the average NEMSA supporter. You clearly failed to do that, and showed an obvious lack of judgement.
If someone like John or Rod made a comment like you did, you would be jumping all over it and exploiting it. You would have it sent to Torren in a second and it would be plastered all over the NEMSA site.

I never buy damage control like "Springers Kids". Just admit it, NEMSA is not capable of navigating the difficult task of staying popular in public opinion due to EMS Supremacy. It appears that NEMSITES have disqualified people like Nate with their qualifications so much that it has hampered their new found political strength with the charities they wish to support. Oh well, I guess NEMSA should just look to Medic One for guidance and follow his wise words of "better get your poop in a group before you step on the field."

First off, you are lying to everyones faces about the Jerry's kids thing, and you think you are disgusted with IAEP ethics and morals? How about all of us reading your thoughts about kids with MD, and then reading Bonifay's letter, Torrens emails stating we are too young to have our own opinion. Talk about disgust with ethics and morals, come on guy, were not that gullable. What moraly do you have a problem with IAEP? IAEP sure as hell has not said half the stupid insults you and Tim B have. Also Medic One and Vernon have been known to share some unethical and unmoral thoughts...
You can't even get out of the Jerry's kids thing because you did use the word retarted! Jerry springer is not known for having retarted people on their show. I hope that we are done attacking each other now. However, I will continue to defend IAEP as an Organization. I have been on our Local Executive Board in AV for over four years now. I am still currently on the Executive Board, pending the outcome of my arbitration. Which I undoubtedly feel I will win. I am still a member in good standing with the IAEP. There you have it! The IAEP has done tremendous things for our Local, so I can actually say I have had experience with them.
I expect you to continue to defend NEMSA. You are still a huge NEMSA advocate.
Aaron, I also agree with you on something. I too, was thoroughly disgusted at the meeting. However, I was disgusted that NEMSA could not provide any facts only degradation towards the IAEP. We were there to clear up any misconception there may have been. Besides, maybe you can give Torren a message. Autumn is wondering where a copy of NEMSA's financial projection is. He has not provided one to her, nor has he tried to contact her. Do you know why?

One more thing. Although you have not, to my knowledge, stated anything in regards to members younger than yourself, others have. Torren has stated several remarks to Nate and others about their age. Also, Carlos made a remark to Autumn that she was young and new to this division, so she should have NO say so in what happens.
This is extremely alarming. NO ONE should be persuaded by manipualtion, to not be involved. Her livelihood is at stake, as well as members older and who have more senority than her, in her division.

I see no one from other counties piping up with support for the COCO lead union. Why is that? I want to know what COCO members are going to do when southwest comes in you are no longer IAEP and out of the core? I want to know what Monterey is going to do when central coast or Westmed comes in and they are no longer IAEP/250 and are not part of the core?
Why are these people writing our bylaws and pontificating their wisdom on us when they are not going to be here in 2006 when we negotiate?

Can anyone else tell that Medic is going to be the type to keep his head in the sand (or up his butt; he has exhibited both thus far) and not do a darn thing regarding getting these bylaws formed. Yet if there ends up being one he doesnt agree with down the road, he is going to go crying to mommy, aka Torren, and claim how he never had a say in the bylaws.

And talking about "lack of substance"? Every time you have no legitimate "substance as you would say" you revert back to Southwest taking us over. If they provide the best package for both the citizens of the county and the employees, I hope they do take over. It is already in the RFP package, supported by the Board Of Supervisors, that they have to honor our existing union set up. I dont care if its Southwest, AMR, Rural Metro, St Josephs, Priority One, or any of the 9 companies that showed up at the bidder conference. Then when we are comfortable with our employer, and have our strong union representation, we can hop on over to the NEMSA website and feel bad for all the idiots who thought the grass was greener on the other side, and now wonder why their representation doesnt "listen to their younger members" and why Tim Bonifay is in jail or a psych hospital.
