Maybe someone can answer a few questions for! I received two letters from AMR in the mail the other day. One stating the implementing or oral drug screening, when did we negotiate that? I thought negotiations were over. I don't remember agreeing to that. And did we get anything else in return for having cavity searches? What are the statistics on these tests? The other letter was regarding Short Term Disability. Why didn't the union notify us on this? Why hasn't our fearless leader contacted his membership to let them know the logistics of these plans? Once again we have fallen into that whole lack of communication funk, that has made this union so pathetic. Just a few thoughts for you to ponder. -Trixie
Trixie, I often wonder why I get more communication from AMR than my e board. After several proddings from his handlers Mike Eosco still disapoints us all with his lack of communication. He still fails to lead. My gut instinct tells me he is just riding it out until he 's voted out. He still ignores the forum to the detriment of his own constituents. The new AMR head Scott Norton has reached out to us but not my union President? You have to be kidding me! If I need to turn this site into decertification central I will do it. I am totally disgusted by the lack of effort of all of the eboards communication skills. Mikes handlers I feel are as disapointed in him as we are. Perhaps he should be communicating instead of going to frisco. Where is my contract Mike? You make me ill. How does it feel to be leading the flagship local out of AMR? jm
So.....where is our copy of the new contract? Seeing as the new clauses were already typed up in a computer file,(we received them with our ballots) and the old contract should be in some form of computer file.....is cut and paste really that difficult of a task for Mr. Eosco? Or what about the 3 newly hired information secretaries? You know, the ones who are supposedly working on the Official website (according the recently fled-to-Ohio Art Sanda <buh bye>).
