that's interesting...

I spoke with Tim the other day and asked him to explain why he was not the VP of NEMSA anymore (what a concept, asking the involved person to explain instead of jumping to conclusions!) and in about 5 min. of conversation I had all my questions answered. If anyone has questions reagrding this I urge you to contact Tim personally (he gave you his personal phone number in an earlier post....see above) and he will gladly explain it i'm sure) To give you a hint, he was NOT fired and is still employed by NEMSA, just in another capacity.

"employed".. hummmmmm... interesting choice of words..  You would think that "assisting", "volunteering", or something or other would be a better choice...also interesting that he doesn't go into detail.. isn't it?? Oh well... I guess we just aren't allowed by NEMSA to be privy to that kind of info.. otherwise you would THINK that someone like.. oh, I don't know.. TIM would have come around here and cleared all this up himself ages ago.. or even Torren.. I mean, the  questions have been asked often enough, and the topic has been hanging in the air for quite some time now.... but you know what they say.. "go with the flow", "that's none of your buisness", "don't worry about it", or some such thing. I guess it really doesn't matter what potential members might have questions or concerns about... it seems to be the "NEMSA way"... you must know the secret handshake and be willing to sacrifice everything for the cause, otherwise... you just get nothing... except empty promises, unproven contracts, an EXPENSIVE lawyer who makes assumptions before having the facts (ie the service agreement fiasco), a pres who says that if you vote NEMSA you are essentially voting for him to be pres.. even though there's no actual election for that office, supporters who threaten those with questions and prove themselves highly unprofessional in doing so, verbal bashing, evasive answers.. when you can even get that, and the list goes on......

but in the end.. I have to agree with snake911...... who ever wins.. let's work together...... I hope you can do that.. but I have my doubts.. there's so much bad blood going around... All that talk about pride in unity.. I hope it really does run thicker then water.

Due to post-vote posts on the NEMSA forum, my opinion is that the past leadership cannot work together.  In my opinion, the prevailing side shall take charge, period, end of story.  The other side needs to refocus on their day job and stay out of the way of the soon to be voted in leaders of the labor group.  Trust has been violated and trust is not easily reinstated.  If the entirety of the group cannot trust all of the current leaders then we need to recruit new leaders that can earn trust, rather than keep the violators that need to convince trust.  It is time to clean and amend.
